Don't let the stars fool you

I like flavored coffees. The description and overwhelming good reviews for this seasonal coffee made me think this would be a slam dunk of deliciousness. When I brewed the first cup, it smelled wonderful in my kitchen. Good sign. Then the taste....oh, it is just so terrible and artificial tasting. Nasty aftertaste. I literally kept adding water to dilute the flavor. I tried more creamer. No magic combination of "doctoring" worked well enough to label this swill as drinkable, much less worthy of 4 or 5 stars. I waited a few days and tried again - thinking that maybe I had a bad k-cup on the first brew. Nope, it was just as gross. And now, since the flavor was so terrible, even the aroma was nauseating and a reminder of the foul drink. No sampler pack is available, and so you are stuck with 24 k-cups. I gave 22 k-cups away. Save your money. If you enjoy flavored coffees, I recommend the Chocolate Glazed Donut flavor with a little Italian Sweet Cream creamer.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity, Unpleasant Flavor
I love this coffee. I first bought it at a store and then they were sold out of it. So I ordered 3 boxes from keurig. Now I'm ordering 3 more cuz I cant get enough of it. I put chocolate SF flavoring in it with some creamer and its just like an almond joy without the almonds!!
I've only had this over ice so I can't say if I would like it hot. That said....I enjoy it very much as an iced drink. It might be on the light side it you use creamer but just black it's great. I don't find it to be bitter and it has a nice coconut after taste.
I'm not a flavored coffee fan but i love this one!! I always stock up on it. The smell of it brewing is delightful. The light taste of coconut is wonderful. The only thing wrong is that it's not offered all year round.
