I have been a coffee drinker for nearly five decades. Just when I thought I'd tried them all and that nothing new on the market was truly unique, into my life (thanks to Green Mountain and Keurig)came Island Coconut. Rich, creamy, flavorful, aromatic ..... the list goes on and on. For my first cup of coffee each morning, I prefer something more traditional. However, the entire time I'm drinking it, I'm looking forward to the second cup: Island Coconut. It tops off everything well, from breakfast to dinner and the in between afternoon need for a pick-me-up. Perhaps the most surprising thing has been my friends who typically dislike anything coconut flavored. Island Coconut is batting 1000 thus far. The one con I've found: it's seasonal!!! Why, why, why is that???? Not to worry, I'm ordering away to make certain that my pantry is stocked full of it during the off season.
I totally fell in love with this one. I'm alittle upset it is only for a limited time. I have my regular coffee I drink each morning but this is for the special moment when I get the chance to really enjoy my coffee.
So I'm not too sure where all the positivity of this blend comes from. I love love love flavored coffee - but this one tastes like a touch of tanning oil and Malibu rum was poured into a light coffee. I mean, it's not so gross that I can't drink it at all. But of the box I bought last summer, I still have a lot left.
Pros: Not Bitter, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma
