My wife and I love to run a K-cup of milk chocolate at the smallest setting, and then adding a K-cup of Coconut at the medium setting......mmmmmmmmm. We use a Platinum coffee maker.
This smells wonderful when it's brewing but I find it to be VERY weak and not at all coconut flavored. I am very disappointed, especially since I bought 2 boxes based on the great reviews.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light, Not Enough Flavor
This is my husband's favorite flavored coffee. We are both coconut lovers and coffee lovers so we couldn't resist picking this one up for our new Keurig (our favorite and most-used wedding gift!) when we first got married. Our guests love it too! We really enjoy playing with its unusual flavor by serving it with a splash of natural coconut milk, in place of regular cream or cow's milk, and a touch of agave for that sweetness with which coconut naturally pairs well. In the summer it makes for a phenomenal poolside iced coffee. If you really want to put it over the top, a dollop of freshly whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet coconut flakes will suffice and "wow" your lucky guests. Much better than any overpriced "coffee" concoction at most mainstream cafés. Bottom Line: This is one of the best flavored coffees we've ever tried.
Island Coconut coffee is delicious! Smooth! Great in the morning, but even more so in the afternoon or evening. I love coffee, but am very finicky. I do not like really strong coffee. This is not watery or weak, it is just perfect! I stock up every time it is available on the website.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma, Not Bitter, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smooth Taste
I usually love flavored coffees but this one was a disappointment. Even for a light roast, it has a weak watery feel and a very Strange taste. Also leaves a nasty feel and taste in your mouth afterwards. Will not purcahse again, haven't found one person in my circle of family or friends that will use it up for me.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light, Not Enough Flavor, Unpleasant Flavor, Unpleasant Aftertaste
