If you like your cup on the more bold side, or even a nice medium roast that leans more towards rich and robust, this is not for you. I have purchased Starbucks Pumpkin Soice K-Cups, and that is where the coffee still comes through. This one and the Dunkin brand of pumpkin spice are very weak in the coffee flavor. They taste watered down, and I used the smaller cup setting on my Keurig to give them a fair shot. For comparison, if I were to name a favorite Starbucks roast, it would be Pike Place. Their pumpkin spice cups are more like that, whereas this one and the Dunkin one more like a light roast, which for me has almost no coffee flavor.
Also. I am not a hard core Starbucks drinker. My go to blends are Peet’s House blend and Green Mountain’s Sumatra blend. But as far as Pumpkin Spice flavor, stick with Starbucks.
I buy this coffee every year in the Fall. It’s a seasonal coffee and I enjoy the flavor. I usually buy enough to last me through the Winter until Spring. I love it! I hope they never stop making it.
