I love pumpkin spice anything so was very excited to try this. I did not know it was light roasted but knew as soon as I put a few drops of coffee creamer in and saw how light it got. Drats. I was so excited but am not willing to give up a good cup of coffee for the added flavor, which was weak at best. Very disappointed as I have been with all light roast coffees and have learned my lesson to check carefully before purchasing my mail.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Not Enough Flavor, Roasted Too Light
The flavor of this one the released last year wasn't very Pumpkin Spice like, it had a weird aftertaste and I ended up leaving the box in the break room at work to get rid of these. I hope they have improved the formula this year but I'm not willing to put money down to find out.
Pumpkin Spice is the most flavorful coffee Keurig puts out, it is smooth, and robust, without being bitter. Kuerig has perfection in this coffee. The only con is that it is not available all year round.
I really want to like this - I tried putting it through with the least amount of water, but it still seems flavorless. Make it in a dark roast and I will love it.
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light
This is definitely the best flavor I've had so far (I've tried 15 K-cup varieties, 13 of them flavored, and I prefer light roasts and flavored coffee). It has a rich, strong flavor and smell of pumpkin pie-like spices. Out of a whole box, only one K-cup tasted weak or watery. I highly recommend this flavor!
It is definitely unique, and it isn't bad... just not what I was expecting. I was hoping that by the time I added my cream and sugar, I would have "Pumpkin Pie" in a cup, but in reality, I had, well, pumpkin in a cup with some sugar. I guess I wish it was sweeter. It kind of reminded me of my experience with pumpkin beer (the same kind of pumpkin flavor and aftertaste), so if you like that, then give this a shot.
I only drink flavored coffee and like to try different flavors. I like some of green mountains other flavors but the pumpkin spice is overwhelming and tastes very artificial. It's almost nauseatingly so. This is definitely a flavor to pass on.
