[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop 10 months ago, and it has remained in one place at my home the entire time. I have never carried it anywhere, even within the house. One day, when I simply opened the laptop, the screen started cracking at the hinge/joint. I immediately contacted warranty support, but they told me this type of damage is not covered under the warranty, even though the laptop is still within the warranty period.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall an excellent laptop. Keyboard has a very pleasant tactile feel. Screen is vivid with color AND goes from edge to edge. Processing speed is fast. Plenty of disk space (SSD style). Touch screen is sensitive. Touch pad is good but one does have to get use to the touch pad buttons being on the lower corners of the touch pad (previous laptop had separate keys above the touch pad).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the screen ratio of 16:10 (instead of 16:9) which makes it so much better to view text and graphic web content. The bootup and program startup speed is nice and it is very convenient to switch between apps without stuttering or getting bogged down. Touch is very responsive, and the screen hinges look durable. Very happy with the purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost 10 years ago, I bought my Lenovo Idea Pad 110. I thought at the time it was the best thing next to sliced toast. Now, fast-forward 88mph and 10 years later, I find myself in a Lenovo Idea Pad 5i 2-in-1 16 inch Intel (my previous Lenovo was an Intel with 16 inch screen). As I unboxed my new one and began to go through the motions, just as my old one, it is very user friendly. Set up was a breeze, use and functionality are very impressive. Use of the pen is a breeze. I love the color of Cosmic Blue. Overall, I'm a technical writer by trade, and this laptop is perfect for my career needs as well as my personal use. I do recommend this laptop for anyone. There's no lag and it is very quick and smooth. As strange as it sounds, I do miss my old laptop and it was truly amazing to me throughout the years. I believe my new one won't disappoint. For those who are hesitant, don't be. It is worth every penny! Thanks Lenovo for a superb product!
