Ive used filter but for

Ive used filter but for a few years without issue. Unfortunately these filters were not the same thickness as similar 4 box filters. Result was loose fitting.

The pleats in the filter

The pleats in the filter were uneven and in a couple of spots they were pressed together. This concerns me because it could create an uneven airflow though the filter and even restricting it in these spots. The two filters I bought from you last year were not like this. I expected better quality than this for my money.

better pricing, but less filter media area and reduced quality construction

compared to the original carrier filter, this has less pleats therefore less filter area. this means shorter filter change intervals compared to the original. Also, the glue based securing method of the filter media seems less secure than the original filter which raises concerns on potential leaks on some filters...though I noted none at the time of my install. Reduced one star for reduced filter paper area. Overall I think its a good value for the product as provided. I had also ordered merv 8 filters as well but the construction on the merv 11 was definitely better than those.

they are not 16x25x4 but 153/8 x 243/8 x35/8 they do not fit ell-- False advertising
