Filter dimensions NOT as specified! Beware!

We ordered 20x25x4 filters (Merv 11) for two new HVAC systems, however, once installed, the "4 inch" width was WAY too small for the opening in the air handler. They're just leaning loosely in the filter slots. NOT effectively filtering all the air going through the system! We should have gone with the Honeywell brand filter instead of trying to save some money.

As a retired HVAC business owner I know how expensive it can be to purchase filters of odd size. Most suppliers can order them, but only at a premium. Nice to find ones at regular pricing.

Have not used these yet. Wish they had insert/handles to easier grasp to place and remove. Bryant has them and I assumed I was buying a Bryant furnace filter.
