They are not 4 inches

They are approximately 3 3/4 inches and there is a small gap when placed in unit.

Poor construction

I purchased 4 pleated air filters and was disappointed to find the pleated filter was not equally spaced in some of the filters. The pleated material was bunched up to one side and I was not able to spread out to provide best results.

I did not read/realize that the size I chose wasn't the exact size. I purchased 16*25*4 the actual size was smaller I'll deal with it but people need to pay closer attention to this.

Filter fit very loose.Had to put foam on top, to insure no air got by filter.
