The filters are undersized so that they fit all filter boxes. This leaves room for air to go around the filter in my box.

Does not replace 4" Honeywell filters. Actual size is 3-5/8".

I purchased eighteen of these filter because they are labelled "4 inch media filters". The actual size is 3-5/8" so they do not fit my Honeywell filter housing.

Loose fitting

I typically buy Aprilaire 410 filters for my house and they fill the entire area made for the filter. These filters I bought here seem very loose. Perhaps when the system is running it seals in there, but im not really sure.

The filter medium is more

The filter medium is more durable and a little thicker. I like the looks of the filter box, i. e the outer frame of the filter. It is more durable and stronger when installed and removing.

Filters are smaller than labeled

Been a Filter Buy customer for years and loved them and their products. Never had any issues. Recently bought a new HVAC system that takes 16x25x4 filters. It was time to make my first filter change and put the new FilterBuy one in and it was smaller, leaving gaps. Took it out and put it next to the old one and it was smaller. Only about 3. 25 inches tall and only 15. 25 inches wide. This caused the filter to not fit snuggly and allows air to flow around it unfiltered into my system. I bought a pack of 3 and all three were not 16x25x4, all were smaller than labeled. Unfortunate, because I liked FilterBuy.
