Dimensions did not match!

Ordered 36x12x2 which per your website should have measured 35.5 x 11.5 x 2. What I received measured 35.0 x 11.5 x 2. Problem appears to come from mfg phase. Filter appears to be constructed from a 24x12 and a 12x12 which have been taped togeather without accounting for the cumulative length of the two filters. A 1/2 spacer should be added between these two filters when joined to make a 36x12 filter. The joining is extreamly good and I have no problem with the workmanship of the joint. But the dimensional difference required me to rework the filter box.

As advertised. I could not find 2" thickness in the hardware store so had to order. Will reorder when time comes as I am satisfied with and would recommend this product.
