construction quality leaves something to be desired with large air gaps around media

construction method seems to not be sealed tightly against the cardboard with some gaps between the filter media and the cardboard frame. I had to close these by gluing these up before install. filters don't work if there is room for flow around the media. of note, reduced number of pleats/filter area than the oem which would mean needs more frequent changes than the oem filters.The MERV 11's that I ordered for a different application were assembled much better without any gaps and i would suggest those instead for a better experience.

This batch didn't have any leaks but a different size MERV 8 that i ordered required regluing the media to the frame. The MERV 11's that I ordered for a different application were assembled much better without any gaps and i would suggest those instead for a better experience.
