Filters were wider than MERV 9

Could not use these filters because the a/c has a fixed width filter holder. Two MERV 9 filters fit but the two MERV 11s you sent were a 1/4 inch too wide each.

Good response to a shipping problem

I feel OCD to mention it, but I found it disturbing that my side by side 2 in filters had vertical pleats in one and horizontal pleats in the other. I doing see that it makes any difference though. I am hoping I will have nothing to think about when my subscription brings me two new Merv 11s in 3 months.
