All is can tell you about the filter is it fit my a/c unit. I did not install it immediately. It was about a week. I think Iwould need to use it a month or so to determine how good it works. You have any questions.

This filter fits the area perfect easily installed and removed. I write installed date and change it every three months. Catches a lot of dust. House air feels cleaner.

Not as snug as the OEM filter

This filter was about 1/4 inch shorter than the filter that came with the HVAC unit. I needed to pad the underside with strips of with cardboard, so that it would fit snugly up to the top of the slot, since air travels across the top.
