Not true size

So I have been buying 16x25x4 filters for years..just by the size on the filter..they fit fine and worked well..but your filters were thinner by an inch..WDF????sooooo I got the number off the filter cover plate and it converted to 16X25X5.not cool

These filters are quite nice

These filters are quite nice and the price is awesome. However they are not 4" thick , they are 3 3/8" thick and fit very loose in the filter area of the furnace. Unfortunately I will not be buying these again.

The quality of my filters

The quality of my filters was poor. Wires poking outside of the filters, some were dirty on the interior accordion material and the accordion material was not folded properly. I asked to do an exchange and I sent pictures over a week ago with no response.

I am using the 4 thick Filterbuy filters in lieu of a metal mesh filter that was standard in an electronic air cleaning system I had added to my furnace. I am so glad I made the decision to go with disposable and recyclable Filterbuy filters.HKB

A bit misleading

Filters are fine, but the sizing is misleading. The standard sizing (eg, 16x25x4) is what most consumers are looking for; however, their actual sizes are considerably smaller than those from other major brands. They do list the actual dimensions, so look carefully! You can have other sizes made to order, but then they are custom and then cost basically the same as retail store purchased filters.
