I am accustomed to filters being only an 1/8 shorter in length and width. These filter left spaces far too wide on the length and width. Require the use of weather stripping to fill the gaps between the metal frame holding the filter and this gappy filter.
I have an older home and its incredibly hard to find filters that fit . Stores just dont carry them in if they do its the bottom of the line . I was able to get the quality filter that I wanted which is pretty high a reasonable price and they shipped it very quickly so I am very happy and will continue to buy .
to be honest with you, the filters did not fit properly, but I think it was my mistake. I simply noted the measurements that were on the existing filters, but the new ones I got from you are narrower. I was told I should get the 20X24X 5.
There were gaps between the filter subtrate and the frame. The frame is too flimsy and flexes allowing unfiltered air to pass. The filter came with glue and debris covering the outside of it. Everything seemed poor quality overall. I most likely will find another manufacturer for my filters. A filter with this level of filtration should not be allowed gaps in the filter substrate nor a frame the flexes so easily to allow blow-by.
