I'm waiting for a call back about data showing the amount of dirt the filters can hold until they cause problems with the air handler. Ie how long can they be used until they will affect my units

The 2 air conditioners I

The 2 air conditioners I have are 1 year old Tranes. They replaced 20 year old Tranes. One is 4 ton and the other a 5 ton. The old ones had electronic filters which seemed to work. The new ones had very expensive material filters which would require at least annual replacement. They were Merv 16 made by IQAir. No longer available. When searching for replacements, I found Filterbuy. The size was available and the price was extremely reasonable. Merv 13 should be fine for 2 people in a single family homeThe size I ordered was an exact replacement fit for the filters I had .
