This was a filter. A lonely filter to suck up all of the air and clean it up in my HVAC system. It works. It continues to work. When I change it in the next one works.

i change my filter once a month and do not see where there is any accumulation of anything on the filter. Is it just me or am I wasting my time changing this every month.

Filter sizing

I purchased a years supply of 14x14, and 16x16 merv 13 filters for my home. They seem good, and Im assuming they meet the merv13 spec. Problem is the size. 14x14 is only 13 1/2 square, which requires carefully centering the filter in the return grille to avoid a gap on the perimeter. The 16x16 filters measure 15 3/4 square, which works fine. Although, it would be better if they were full dimension or maybe 1/8 under. If the air is allowed to go around the filter, then the filter is useless.

We love these filters ! We have four cats and a dog ,as well as kids tracking in and out of the house . These filters catch the fur and debris and help to maintain the safety and proper functioning of our heat and air unit . They last three months , but since we have four cats and a dog ; I usually try to change them every two months . I want to help maintain our heat and air unit as best I can . These are great filters . You get what you pay for . Filter Buy is the cheapest place Ive found to get good quality filters at a great price .

Unfortunately, it is too deep

Unfortunately, it is too deep (1) to fit between our reverse window fans and our screens. Was going to use them to filter out wildfire smoke and pollen . Very sad it didnt work.

Great filters

Filter buy provides great filters at a great price, especially if you buy in quantity. I usually buy a year or 2 filters at at time to save $. Time goes by quick so they go faster than you think. My only complaint is that they ship with FedEx and have had issues with deliveries going to the wrong address. Filterbuy has resolved the situation though.
