The plates and the filters are not even. They are bunched up on the sides.

Not sure how to tell if it is better? I am afraid the higher quality filter will restrict the air flow and result in other problems. Like over working the fan motor.What things should I notice to prove this filter is better?

Too Small and Poorly Constructed

This 20x20x4 filter is considerably smaller than the name brands and does not fit properly in my air handler. Rather than pay to return them I was able to glue a cardboard frame to the filters to make them fit properly. The pleats of the filter are are not spaced evenly and are bunched up along the edges, which seems like it would not allow for proper air flow. We live in an area that is currently experiencing lots of wildfire smoke and I am not yet sure if they filter as well as the name brands either.

Box width may not match

I purchased this size, which was correct, but the original filter was a half an inch wider. I still used these filters and noticed a big difference in our in home air quality. Will rebuy if the box width was larger.
