When I replaced my last filter I was very surprised by the amount of smoke particles that had been filtered out. It showed me the importance of the filters.PS. You send too many e-mails so I have unscribed.

Pleats not uniformly configured

I think the filter will be effective. The only issue I saw was the quality of the manufacturing. Some of the panel pleats were not uniformly configured, and I couldn't reposition them without damaging the unit. Some of the pleats were right next to each other, so I assume the sides that were against each other would not be as effective at filtering as they should be. It's just my non-expert opinion of what I would expect in a performance issue with these "problems". Regardless, I still think the filter will do its job because most of the filter looked like I expected...uniformly configured. I think it will be a good filter for the price.
