These are great filters. MERV13 is one of the best grade of filter and these do the job. They fit well in to the return grille and catch most of the contaminants- dust, dog hair etc. I have them delivered on a schedule so I always have a replacement when needed.

Questionable filter rating

Bought MERV 13 rated filter. Well constructed, however, I am doubtful of its MERV 13 rating.
It has half the pleats of an equivalent 3M MPR 1500 filter. So either it does not filter the same micron size of particles out or it is much more restrictive due to smaller surface area. Either way it may not be a good filter.
The MERV 8 filter has same number of pleats as the MERV 13, which doesn’t make sense.

I very much like the business model and subscription for these filters. At this point, I have not run my air conditioning or heat since getting the filters. Once the air conditioning season begins, I will be glad to let you know how they work for me.

Does what it should. Change it often. Gets dirty fast. It would be nice if you made this size with Carbon/Charcoal for filtering/reducing odors.

So far easy install. I have a very tight area to install my filter so it being a little smaller than the actual size helps it go right in. I’ll let you know my thoughts in a month.

We used to use a nationally-recognized name brand filter. These MERV 13 filters are just as effective and efficient as far as we can tell and are a much better value.
