A LOVELY FINISHING TOUCH

We bought a 7 foot mantle to complement our 50 inch fireplace. We went with the unfinished piece, which I had planned on painting to match the woodwork in the room, but my wife persuaded me to stain it instead. It was a beautiful piece of wood, which the staining enhanced the natural grain of the pine. We are very pleased with the whole ensemble and would recommend the addition of the mantle to any fireplace project that someone would be considering.
