I found that the 24-inch

I found that the 24-inch dimension was a little on the short side compared to the filters we had been using. Everything else was very good.

custom filter

FilterBuy could not send me the custom size filter I ordered. I ordered 24 X 18 X 1 . That was 24" exactly X 18" exactly X standard 1" ( 3/4" thickness is OK ). I received 23 3/8 X 17 3/8 X standard 1". The previous owners left me [manufacturer - AIR HANDLER ] 24" ( 23 1/2 ) X 18" ( 17 1/2 ). X standard 1". Apparently the air filter industry does not agree on a basic standard ( other than thickness ). The actual air flow duct hole measures 23 3/16 X 17 1/4. The edge around the hole measures 24 1/8 X 18 1/8. I watched a YOU TUBE video about replacing an air filter and his air filter fit in place like a glove. I bet I could have devised a better fitting system in 1963 when I was in 8th grade. Who knew that air filters could be so complicated.

Too Small

Filters look nice but are about a half inch smaller than all of the other filters I have purchased in the past locally. I will make them work since I bought 6 but I may not buy again.
