We decided to filter at the cold air returns rather that at the air handler. The goal was to reduce the amount of dust in the house. The 12x12x1 filters fit the returns perfectly. We've noticed no difference in air flow. It's too early to determine if there is less dust. The filters are of high quality. If the change we made in filter location works the way we want, we'll definitely be purchasing more from Filter Buy.

These filters are not up to spec. I purchased 18X24x1 filters and noticed that they are slightly smaller than store bought filters. Sure enough, that small size difference was enough to cause my air handler to “inhale” the filter. Super disappointing.
