A Little Smaller Than Expected

My 16x20x4 filter was smaller than expected, but when I read about nominal sizes that explained its smaller size. Unfortunately, it would not lay flat in the furnace filter rack since it was smaller than 16 inches wide. I was able to make a modification to the filter rack so it would hold both sides of the filter up allowing it to lay flat. Overall, the filter is nice and sturdy and a good price.

Not true to size

The 20x25x4 is noticeably smaller in every dimension than the 20x25x4 that weve always purchased from big box stores. Your filter just does not fit snuggly in our AC unit like every other filter Ive used in this unit for the last 10 years. Because its loosely fitting it makes me think that air gets thru that is not passing thru the filter which is unacceptable.
