Pretty is as pretty does

I'm sure this is a fine, even superior filter. I had been using 12 x 12 x 5 inch filters, which have been phased out. I spoke w a Rep about the 2 in thick filters, and she felt they were the best solution. After 2 orders botched by FedEx, they finally arrived. But... due to the way they are made, don't fit in the A/C return. Boo.

Good filters, poor website

While I appreciate Filterbuy's subscription service and their quality of filters, they really need to fix a problem on their website where the user chooses the quantity of filters and recurrence of order, but if any other changes are made on the page, the system increases the order so the user will get too many filters. I hope it's just an oversight, because if this is a sales tactic to sell more filters than people need, that would be deceitful.

Excellent size choices you CANNOT get at any big box or hardware store. I have unusual size and thickness of filters and they have them to me in just a few days!

Great Custom Filter with a couple of Small Defects

This was a very good buy for a custom filter. The first filter was 16x22 1/8x2 and slightly not square. This didnt affect my installation, but it might others. BTW the condo we just bought has the air handler horizontally installed above the washer and dryer. The installers removed the filter tray because a wall prevented putting the filter in. The previous homeowners were cutting down standard filters and taping them to the bottom. I just ordered custom 2 filters that fit and still have to tape them. If we ever have to replace our heat pump I will have the installers do a proper job and duct it to the wall with a filter cage behind the wall return inlet.
