Filters are coming too fast

The auto-shipment of filters to assure that I have a clean filter about once a month doesn't account for long periods where the furnace (&/or A/C) doesn't turn on due to very moderate temperatures. I now have 9 filters for the next 6 months

Tape was coming off, filter coming apart before put in furnace. I do not recommend this filter.
