Not sized properly

The filters did not fit properly because they were smaller than the size they were advertised as. The length, width, and thickness were at least .25inch smaller then they were supposed to be.

I have been buying these filters for several years now. They work well here in Minnesota living with many types of tree pollens , especially white pine. The local stores do not carry our larger sized filters. One thing I do like is that they arrive in a good protective box and do not get crushed during shipment.

The filters I bought from you turned out to be the wrong size. This was mostly my fault; I ordered them based on the nominal or 'labeled' size (16 x 25 x 4"), but the actual size is about 1/2 inch smaller in width, and similar with the other two dimensions. I didn't measure the actual size of the filters they will replace before ordering. It turns out that the original (branded) filters' dimensions are very close to the nominal size. Returning the filters to Alabama would likely be expensive, so I'm thinking to modify the ones I got from you by gluing pieces of cardboard to the edges of the filters to make them wider, etc. That's a job, for 10 filters. I hadn't hd this kind of problem with your filters with our old HVAC equipment, but we got new equipment 5 months ago.

I will not be using them until next month. I just purchased them in advance so I could replace my existing Filterbuy filter on time. Filterbuy makes a great filter that works well at our house.
