17.5X27X5MERV11 AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENT FLITER

If you have a whole house Trane A/C do not buy this filter, it will not fit. The service was very good, the package arrived in 2/3 days by UPS and in good shape, not crushed. That is where the good ended because when I tried to install the filter it would not go in unless I pushed the top part of the filter down. I needed the filter so I continued to install all 27 inches of it, and it looks a little crushed. I will have to use it until I can get more filters from another source. We have a Trane model XV90 that was installed in July 2005 and this is the first time I have had any problems with filters. I guess it is the AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENT FILTER that is the problem. I know I will not buy another.

The filters are doing their job very well, once they get here, but service is somewhat slow and cost is somewhat high. nevertheless I am willing to pay a little more for an effectiveilter.

I just purchased 2 filters that I had custom made for my vents. They fit perfectly and the price was reasonable. If you want a place to buy filters that are made for customer satisfaction, I would recommend "Filer Buy" to you.
