The filter came with a label of MERV 8 while it is supposed to be a MERV 13. Even as a MERV 13, the number of pleads in the filter are far less than a comparable Filtrete 1900.

Looks like a very filter. Test will be how much dust appears on our wood furniture. New system, air ducts & new filter system than we previously had. Trying to keep the dust out of the air. Time will tell, however they seem very good quality.

Less surface than the original Ultravation filter

Comparing the extension of the filter itself it seems that this filter presents 25 to 30% less surface than the original one.
