These filters do fit our hvac. They do not have carbon filters for better cleansing of the air.

I agree, air filters aren't the most "exciting thing in the world", but they're very imp. nonetheless?!? That's why I went with ones that are rated MERV 13. I really like the fact that these filters are produced in the USA as well as their "true sizing"!?! They seem to be well made, but I only rated them at 4 stars because I want to see how they hold up and what their appearance is when I make my first post-purchase change.

Extremely disappointed. These DO NOT FIT PROPERLY! 20x30x1TERRIBLE! 3M Filtrete fit like a glove... These fit like a child could not read the measurements and cut them out... So disappointed.
