Efficient but Noisy

I have had my new Merv 11 Pleated Air Filters in for about two weeks now.
I find them to be efficient but the noise level of them is about equal to my old brand name filters when they had reached the end of their cycle and need to be replaced.
And yes, if anyone is wondering, both the old and these new filters, filter at the same level.
