Type-C connectivity

24U421A’s packaging and user manual Does not mention if it is capable or not of USB-C Display (Output)! Connected it as extended monitor using type c cable and checked all of my display setting and it did not work! I had a chat with one of the LG online reps and I was informed that it should be capable of type-c video display, however I don’t think he/she is sure of the answer since they could not find a Yes or No answer for TYPE-C display

Beautiful colors and sharp looking fonts

Having owned an LG 34" IPS curved panel since 2019, I can honestly say that I am impressed with this VA panel. I have always steered clear of VA panels because of the ghosting on fonts, and just horrible performance when compared to an IPS panel. Not sure what LG did different with this VA panel, but the fonts look great on it, and the colors are very vivid. I also like that this panel has an 1800R curvature, which at least for me is the perfect curvature on widescreen monitors; it's not too pronounce and not too flat, it's just right. I don't like the fact that it does not include a USB-C port, that's the only con.

Massive Upgrade for Productivity and Editing

The 21:9 screen ratio completely changes the workflow experience, especially for multitasking, editing content, managing timelines, or having multiple windows open side-by-side without feeling cramped. The curved display feels immersive without being overwhelming.
The colors look clean and vibrant, motion is smooth thanks to the higher refresh rate, and text stays sharp for long work sessions. It also looks incredibly sleek on a desk setup and instantly makes the workspace feel more premium.
Setup was quick, the on-screen controls are easy to use, and the extra screen real estate has honestly made it hard to go back to a standard monitor. Great option for creators, productivity, streaming, or everyday use.

Makes Multitasking So Much Easier

The size of this screen allowed for all the tabs and apps I typically have open to be visible at one time which was a huge bonus for me. The curve is such a good range for my binge sessions and cozy gaming. The picture quality is great and the refresh rate is great for games. The monitor was easy to assemble and took me less than 5 minutes to put together and connect to my desktop. Very immersive, I really feel inside of the game

What I noticed right away was how immersive everything feels. The curved display really helps pull you into the game, and the extra screen space makes a big difference. Whether I'm playing racing games, shooters, or just exploring open-world games, everything feels more enjoyable.
The picture quality looks great, the colors are vibrant, and setup was super easy. I literally had it up and running in minutes.
I also use it for watching videos and browsing when I'm not gaming, so it's nice having a monitor that does both really well.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. It's one of those things where once you start using an ultrawide monitor, it's hard to go back.
