Not 4 inches wide

Thought I would try these filters out. I have been using another brand of 4 inch filters. This filter fit into the filter box but was about 1 inch thinner. So it should be 16x25x3.

24x25x4 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter

Poor quality filter. It was not rigid enough. It was very fragile and quickly got bend out of shape. As filter was pushed into position, it started to crumble and sag and twisted out of shape. There are no holes to put your fingers in to pull the filter out as the filter was bend and twisted when placed the first time around. The thin strips that run across the filter supposedly for rigidity of filter got ripped or bend out of shape. Really disappointed with this twin pack filter
