Good price but smaller than expected

I bought several 16x25x4 filters to replace Honeywell 16x25x4 filters. The Filterbuy filters are noticeably smaller than the same-sized Honeywell filters and they don't fit snuggly into the filter housing.

Size matters

When ordering filters make sure you order by the actual dimensions of the filter not by the general dimensions provided on the filter. Mine said 24x25x4 and I had picked some up at a local dealer that said the same, BUT WOULD NOT FIT, and were much higher priced. I returned those and went online and found filter buy, ordered filters that would physically fit into my furnace and bought 5 for about the same price as 2 at my local supplier. I am pleased with the purchase.

The filters I received are fine. I do not believe they are the ones I really wanted. This is my fault. Do not believe the website I looked at gave me much of a variety. The filter I purchased does not seem very heavy duty.

Not what I expected

The filter dimensions are very narrow compared to other manufacturers. Ion measuring I found out that its not exactly or even close to the 16x25x4 as stated. It leaves a lot of space for particles to move around the filter
