Four inch filters are about and inch less wider than I expected. Can still use use them combined with one inch filter.

I am still evaluating the filter versus what I am currently using. Price is important, but not the reason for purchase. Initial evaluation suggests that the card board enclosure needs to be stiffness up. Too floppy.

the only reason my rating isn't higher is that i didn't get the filter i ordered. it was the right size but not the correct merv rating. i said i would use the filter but just wanted you to know what happened. a refund for the price difference was promised. the filter fit fine. this is my first filter from your company and if it performs well it won't be the last.

great filter but

I didn't see the "actual size" dimension before I bought 4 of these filters (a years supply). My filter section takes a full sized 20"x25"x4" filter, these are 5/8" small in the length and width directions an 3/8" shorter. While they do fit in the section they are very loose. While the filter quality appears good, I can't help but think there is air passing through my HVAC system around the filter in stead of through it.

The filter was cut down from a larger size filter and not 100% accurate on the dimensions. Also the one side of the filter material is not sealed to the cardboard frame, therefore air can pass through the gap as not filtered.
