Initially we had to make several attempts to insert the filter into the slot, but it did finally slide right in, so perhaps it was 'operator error'! Once in place the fit was ideal and seems to be adequately serving its purpose. We'll buy again if our current supply (5 remaining) runs out. At 90 days use each per change, those will last us a while!
