Questionable filter labeling

I won't be sure I will be getting the actual MERV rating I would order in the future. This is because the MERV Rating is simply "checked off" on the filter by someone with a marker, I get the impression that a lower MERV filter will be substituted for a higher MERV filter bought, and the higher MERV filter identification will be simply checked on the filter.

The pleats on the filter

The pleats on the filter are not evenly spaced. They seem to be bunched up on the top or bottom. This probably does not affect the performance of the filter but it does look right.
