Some makes of 14x24x1 filters are slightly too big for my system. These filters fit my system perfectly. As far as quality, they seem as good a other brands.

Good savings and whenI recently had my Carrier serviced after 6 months the filter was still clean so the filter will last one year.

I should have researched the different Merv factors before purchasing these filters because they are too good for my a/c unit. I need a lower Merv rating to safely run my a/c. For those looking for a good filter, especially if cats and dogs are present, need a really good filter. I do not have any pets.
