Fits the Safeguard filter housing attached to the furnace intake. Since a recent installation, it is a little early to comment on effectiveness. The boxed filter design and construction facilitates filter replacement...a lot better than the original design. The original plastic separaters, used to secure and support the pleated filter became brittle and susceptible to breakage and filter leakage.Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
