the only reason my rating isn't higher is that i didn't get the filter i ordered. it was the right size but not the correct merv rating. i said i would use the filter but just wanted you to know what happened. a refund for the price difference was promised. the filter fit fine. this is my first filter from your company and if it performs well it won't be the last.

great filter but

I didn't see the "actual size" dimension before I bought 4 of these filters (a years supply). My filter section takes a full sized 20"x25"x4" filter, these are 5/8" small in the length and width directions an 3/8" shorter. While they do fit in the section they are very loose. While the filter quality appears good, I can't help but think there is air passing through my HVAC system around the filter in stead of through it.

The filter was cut down from a larger size filter and not 100% accurate on the dimensions. Also the one side of the filter material is not sealed to the cardboard frame, therefore air can pass through the gap as not filtered.

This is great, not only was it less expensive than the brand at the store but it is a better filter and now comes directly to my house every 3 months so I don't forget to change the filter. I don't know why I have waited for months after hearing the commercials.
