I'm very pleased with my new phone and how easy it was to transfer data from my pixel 7 to my pixel 10. Seamless is probably the best way to describe the process. I'm very happy with the service provided by Best Buy during the purchase process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a pixel 6 that I'd used into the ground and figured a new pixel would be the way to go. I was mistaken. The phone is fine except it struggles to load pages in Firefox. After reading online, this is apparently and issue with the new chipset Google went with for the new pixels and that the drivers are terrible for it. It's week on gpu performance.
Don't make the mistake I did. Buy a Samsung instead.

Great Phone, Mediocre Camera

I upgraded from the Pixel 6 and while I love the faster / smaller phone, the camera is not much of an upgrade. I've been watching videos and changing settings but I feel like I've yet to get an image that's better than my old phone. I will say there are a lot of camera settings though! Lots of options to get the photo you want, but I can't figure it out. The AI zoom / enhancements are also pretty disappointing. All it does it make an oversaturated blocky version of the original photo. For close up photos it's definitely an upgrade, but I'm disappointed with anything that's needed even the slightest bit of zoom. If I can't figure it out, I would strongly consider returning it for a different brand of phone.

Good Phone, Bad OS

For context, I switched to the Pixel 10 Pro from a Samsung Galaxy S10. I use an iPhone 17 for work. I've lived with the phone for a couple weeks before writing this review.
The physical device itself is fantastic. The 5x telephoto lens is a meaningful step up from the 1x wide lens, and each having their own full-resolution sensor makes the telephoto all the more useful. Being the Pro model, I get some extra controls in the camera app that are useful and much appreciated. I have not tried the AI photo coach.
Battery life is great so far, and power draw while idle is slim. Wireless charging with the Qi2 magnet array is great.
The software is horrible. I almost returned the phone for the software alone. Information density is so low that I'm afraid the phone thinks I am 6 years old or 100 years old. Every widget is colossal. The clock widget has a seconds hand but the clock app won't show seconds. Every colour theme is offensive and you can't choose custom colours. There isn't even a normal looking 'blue buttons with grey background'. The weather app will only tell you as much as you can see our the window until you open multiple pages. You have to swipe twice from the top of the screen to get a brightness slider. Email notifications have to be dismissed manually after deleting the email from the notification popup. The "At a Glance" widget can't be removed from the home screen and is, so far in my usage, completely empty save for the date all the time. This operating system is everything I hate about my iPhone and makes me miss everything about my Samsung. For an Android phone, it feels like there isn't much I can customize.
I wouldn't recommend a Google phone but I can live with this one for the cameras.

Always great products from Google. This is my third Google Pixel phone , second Pixel 4 watch , NO complaints. Very satisfied with operations, file, data transfer, setup of everything. I could ramble on, but my title say everything.
