Best Cordless Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum. To sum up my opinion of this vacuum: impressive! We have a couple other stick or handheld vacs but this one blows them all away in its cleaning power and ability to work on all surfaces. Even with a crumb-ridden floor, the vacuum easily sucks them all up and somehow gets the edges or corners that seemed beyond reach. The suction is amazing and far better than any other stick vac we have. It's so lightweight and easy to maneuver and use - even my three year old can use it and help clean the floor! The attachments are easy to get on and off. We love the detachable top for cleaning stairs - my kids now beg to do that job! The three power modes are great. The highest is truly strong. I didn't need it that often. At full power, the battery lasted for about 13 minutes and I cleaned four rooms. However, the lowest suction does great on hard floors which extends the battery life. The only downside to this vacuum is that it takes five hours to fully charge from completely dead to a full charge. That's easily overlooked thanks to the battery meter indicator. It picks up crumbs, hair, home improvement project debris, dust, and everything in between. It's not too loud, it works on all surfaces, and it's hands down the best stick vacuum I've ever tried.

Great little vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going into this, I wasn't sure what to expect. I have used handheld vac's before and have never been greatly impressed. This little guy is great! It has great suction, is lightweight, and is pretty maneuverable. For my first test, I vacuumed an area rug that had already been vacuumed earlier that day with my robot vac. I got such a nice ball of hair and debris out! When my husband came home his initial thought was "wow, that rug actually looks clean!" For reference, when I vacuumed that same rug a few hours later, it didn't pick anything else up. I love that it is lightweight enough for my kids to use. Their rooms have never been so clean! They are actually excited to use it which can not be said about my standard vacuum. I also really like that the debris is whirled into a ball (see picture). It makes it very easy to clean! I just hit the button that opens the bottom and BAM! Nearly all of the dirt falls out. The metal filter is also so much easier to clean than most filters in bagless vacuums. So far my only issue is that the vac is top-heavy. I have to make sure it is really braced before I leave it alone or it will fall. There is also nowhere to store the additional tools. If it would clip onto the stick or something that would be a nice feature. The LED light helps me see all the dog hair all over my floor which is nice, but the vacuum does not seem to have as great suction on hard floors. It still picks a lot up, it just doesn't seem to be its forte. All in all, a great stick vacuum. I love that it's cordless and I can just start using it instead of dealing with the cord. Not as nice as I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell PowerLifter Turbo stick vacuum as part of the Stellar testing panel. At first, I really loved this thing! It is very powerful and my favorite part is the light on the front so you can really see dirt and dust on the ground, especially hard floors. The weight of the vacuum is pretty good too; it's very easy to push around and somewhat easy to hold up and get sides of walls and ceilings. It also disassembles into several parts, making it super easy to use in the car. The major issues with this vacuum, the reasons I took off 3 stars, is because the battery life on this thing is terrible. I mean like it is pretty much unusable kind of terrible. It would take more than an hour to charge up the battery and it would last about 15-20 minutes. When I vacuum, I generally like to get it done within a reasonable amount of time, not have to constantly keep stopping to charge the battery. I understand it not being for large rooms or full houses, but it needs to last longer. I would sacrifice some of the lightness for a larger battery. The other reason I took off stars is because of the filter/dust tank set up. I probably dumped the tank onto the ground at least 5 times while testing the vacuum, which isn't fun when you're vacuuming in a rush so the battery doesn't die for the 100th time. The tank being fairly small and the filter being what it is, I would need to dump it every couple of minutes and that is definitely too often. So overall, 2 stars are taken for the battery life and 1 star is taken for the dust tank. This vacuum seemed so perfect for my situation when I first unpacked it but after extensive use, I found it all bells and no whistle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek & Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very impressed with this product and how much it was able to pick up from carpet to vinyl floors to your car seats. I like that you can utilize between the different tools. The battery life is why I gave it a four star as I did use it on level 3. I noticed when going from a hard service to a rug it would shut off but it didn't do this all the time. I liked the ease of taking it apart & having the directions show me how to clean it/charge it. Love the sleekness/color and how easy it to use & how it all comes apart to put in a neat area. Always love Bissell products. I definitely recommend buying this. You quickly realize how much dirt/hair/particles it picks up when you go to dump it out. The sound is not loud as it has three levels of strength to it. I used the smaller parts for areas I couldn't get & I was amazed.

Quality vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cleanview XR PowerLifter Turbo has been a welcome addition in our house! The suction on this vacuum is excellent and the three power modes are helpful for transitioning from the simple everyday jobs to the heavier, weekly rug cleanup in our upstairs areas. In comparison to our other off-brand stick vacuum, this one definitely stands out; in particular, I love how much easier it is to empty the dirt canister. It's also much more useful on our long shag rug! I do wish the height was adjustable, but even at my 5'1" stature it's still easy enough to maneuver and nowhere near a deal-breaker. Overall, this feels like a well-made vacuum that has left this mom of four kids and two cats satisfied. We will enjoy using it for a long time. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product!

Amazing little vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned several cordless vacuums over the years, but they just didn't have enough power to really clean well. So I was absolutely floored by this Bissell Powerlifter Turbo stick vacuum's performance. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, we had it assembled and running - the design is super intuitive, both for switching out tools and dumping the dust compartment. I was shocked by how much dirt it lifted off our living room rug, which had been vacuumed only 24 hours before! It is amazingly quiet even on the highest power, so I can easily converse with my kids or hear a podcast while cleaning up messes. And speaking of kids - they LOVE that this vacuum is lightweight and easy for them to use, even carrying up and down stairs! It works great on all flooring types, including small throw rugs (which I never could get clean using other vacuums). My husband even used it to vacuum out his car and it did great for that as well. I love how easy it is to maneuver around furniture, so it's easy to spot clean as needed - and with three kids and two cats, we have plenty of messes. Now our house is cleaner than ever and for the first time in my life, I don't dread vacuuming - that's something of a small miracle! Thanks so much to Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this amazing little vacuum - it has truly changed our lives.

The Little Vacuum That Could

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Bissel PowerLifter Turbo through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and found it to be a wonderfully useful and practical cordless vacuum. Having used other cordless vacuums, Bissel really is a league of their own. What I really enjoy about the PowerLifter Turbo was the versatility of use and the ease of transition from function to function. While cleaning up from dinner, I easily move from vacuuming the floor to table with two easy pushes of a button. I really love the crevice tool, which makes cleaning my stovetop and car a breeze. The PowerLifter Turbo is great for the hair my daughters leave behind and even vacuumed my carpet better than my plugin vacuum. Furthermore, I can't believe how easy it is to clean our carpeted stairs. The only drawback we noticed was that (and by we, I mean my wife and mother-in-law), most of the weight of the vacuum is located close to the trigger and is not distributed lower to the floor like other cordless vacuums. While the components are PowerLifter Turbo are light weight and I had no issues using it, my wife felt that it was heavy. However, after about 25 minutes, the PowerLifter Turbo needs to be charged. Overall, the PowerLifter Turbo is quiet (much quieter than our other cordless vacuum by a factor of 10), easy to use, rich with settings, including three power modes (the highest is helpful to remove ingrained hair from carpet) and easy to clean with quick release buttons and convenient placement of the filter to clean. I highly recommend that you add the Bissel PowerLifter Turbo to your clearning arsenal - your dirt won't see it coming.

Pretty good suction for a cordless vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm impressed with the suction and cleaning power of this cordless vac. The construction feels very solid, and while it is a bit top heavy with the battery pack, it remained surprisingly maneuverable. Attachments helped to reach areas where the floor vac couldn't go. We have a dog and kids, so there is always plenty to clean up. The vac did well with hair, though I did need to empty and clean off the filter during cleaning to retain the same level of suction. There was a noticeable difference between using this and our other vacuum, which is also a cordless vac, on both our vinyl flooring and area rugs. The suction was so powerful that it was too much to clean the mat that we wipe our feet on by the door. Compared to our previous cordless vac, it definitely has better suction power, and fewer crevices that get gunked up. It also felt more substantial (material), and while maybe a little heavier, it was more maneuverable. It's also far better in getting the dog hair vacuumed up, even though our other vacuum was also specifically rated for pets. This model doesn't come with the wall mount or storage. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that out, since the instructions show those accessories. We don't have a broom closet, so the wall mount is really helpful for storing the vacuum while charging, and keeping the accessories in place. Now we've had the battery charger on the floor and accessories on a bookcase, so it feels more cluttered. The battery also seems like it takes a very long time to charge. A few times I've run out of battery power pretty quickly, while other times it lasted longer. The trigger push for on/off is easy to use, but there is no way to lock it while using, so every now and then I accidentally turned it off while using it. Not a big deal. Overall it's a really solid vacuum that is performing well for us in our home. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
