Lightweight vacuum that packs a punch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stick vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I couldn't be happier. It is a small, lightweight vacuum but really packs a punch when it comes to performance and suction. I felt as though the vacuum's suction was similar to our bigger vacuum and it cleaned the floor just as well. I was not expecting the vacuum to clean as well given its size, but I was very surprised! My favorite feature was the lightweight design. I have hip pain and having a vacuum where I can move around easily and feel like I'm barely pushing anything is wonderful. Even my 2 year could push it and enjoyed helping me "clean". I am a mom of a messy toddler and it was so easy to pull this vacuum out and pick up her small spills. The vacuum head was easy to maneuver and could get into cracks and crevices better than our big vacuum. This vacuum comes with 3 modes (hard wood, carpet, and extra suction). We used the hard wood and carpet mode the most and felt they worked well in their respective categories. Sometimes, vacuuming on the carpet took a couple passes, but this might have been resolved with the extra suction mode. Another wonderful feature to this vacuum is its quiet volume. My 2 year usually cries with loud vacuums, but she loves this new vacuum and wants to watch it in action. Another great feature is the lights on the vacuum head that help you see what you need to pick up. Overall, I loved this vacuum. My favorite features were how lightweight it was and easy it was to get out and pick up a quick mess. If I could suggest any changes about this vacuum it would be to adjust the weight distribution. The handle and battery are much heavier than the base so when left standing on its own, it tips over making it a little hard to store. This does not change how much I love this vacuum though and I would absolutely recommend this vacuum to a friend.

Good for carpets and hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try this vacuum. The current one we have has to be mounted to charge and is very loud. The first thing I noticed the first time I used the Bissel Powerlifter Turbo is that is was light, quieter, and easy to move and charge anywhere (we have 2 stories and a basement). It also stands easily when not in use, which is convenient if I need to move furniture. I have 2 kids, ages 2 and 5. Needless to say, we have quite a bit of mess. The vacuum worked better on our carpet, which we have a lot of. But, it struggled to pick up food, even on the highest setting. It left behind pieces that were about the size of a peanut and larger. If I lined the items up perfectly with the stick, I had better results. I also noticed when emptying the canister that it picked up a LOT of hair, which is great! I had the same problem on the tile. It did not pick up food, like muffin crumbs and bits of food. The lights are also not very bright, so not very helpful at seeing objects on the floor when vacuuming. Again, if I lined objects up with the stick, I had better luck. Lastly, the head of the vacuum gets stuck in the locked position a lot while vacuuming, and I needed to fix it often. Overall, I feel it is a good vacuum, especially for hair and carpets. Depending on what you are using it for, may be great. Great everyday cleaning tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this vacuum every single day since I received it. Anywhere from cleaning up small toddler made messes to deep cleaning the stairs and my car. We recently acquired a new costume that dips glitter like no other, a few quick passes with the vacuum and the glitter was all picked up from the floor. I really like being able to remove the battery and charge it without having to dock the whole vacuum and it charges relatively quickly and the battery last a good amount of time. The multiple power settings are one of the best features I have used in a while: I use the lowest power for my small rugs and they don't get sucked up in the vacuum, I use the middle setting for every day cleanups, and I use the last setting for cleaning my carpets. You can go from carpet to rugs to hardwood all in one go with no issues. I had no issues with the noise level, found it comparable to others I've used. This is my new everyday vacuum. I was given this stick vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great Vacuum!

Incredible suction across both carpeted and hardwood floors. The vacuum has great maneuverability for navigating around furniture and walls. Very lightweight for a cordless vacuum, which makes it even easier for utilizing across my home. The vacuum has three power settings, and I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet the highest power setting was. The attachments are wonderful additions to help with those hard to reach places. Would recommend this vacuum to anybody, it seems to make cleaning a bit easier.

Vacuum is great but needs a wall or floor mount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sweep the whole house at least once a day, and often have to spot clean multiple times. The Powerlifter Turbo battery lasts through all day, I charge it overnight and it's good to go the next day. This vacuum has good suction and works well on hard floors and area rugs too. My baby doesn't crawl yet but grabs at anything within reach, so sweeping the area rugs she sits on is important to avoid dirt the older kids track in. It's simple to empty the dirt canister; and take apart and clean the filter. The vacuum is quieter than other stick vacuums I've used, but the suction is just as good. The light on the front makes it much easier to spot dirt that is hard to see when I'm sweeping darker corners and under furniture. The attachment pieces are nice and work well. The brush attachment works great for steps, window sills and hard to reach places. There is no way to keep the attachments with the sweeper, which is very inconvenient. I'm constantly switching attachments as I sweep windows, furniture, chairs, and floors so to have to carry those extra pieces around is not ideal. It also means I have to find some place to store them when not using the sweeper. The maneuverability of the Powerlifter Turbo is great for getting under low places and around tight turns. It glides smoothly and turns sharp. The sweeper doesn't latch while in upright standing position, so it will fall over. There was no wall mount nor floor mount included in the package, so I have to carefully position the vacuum against a wall and set it just right or it will roll away from the wall and hit the floor. It also makes charging the battery an extra step as I have to remove it and attach to the charger every time. I would not buy this vacuum simply for those reasons. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful Easy-to-Use Cordless Vac

I was pleasantly surprised with this product - though I know this brand is quite valuable and trustworthy, I didn't expect this kind of power, maneuverability, and comparable design and usage as some other top of the line cordless vacuums. I love how sleek and modern it looks, and the three levels of power were a great surprise. The noise of the lower levels were actually quite helpful, especially for my family as we live in an apartment AND have a toddler making all kinds of messes that need cleaning up at night after bedtime! The swivel steering, too, is so smooth and really easy to maneuver around my furniture, and the short foot reaches under the couches and chairs perfectly. Though it's quite lightweight, I would have loved to see an even lighter design somehow, but I would take the power of the vacuum over the portability any day. Every piece is easy to remove and clean up, and reassemble again. I especially love the easy ways to disconnect the filter, dirt tank, and brush roll, and even foolproof ways to reattach. The removable battery to charge is a serious advantage and I really enjoy this feature! However, I would love to see a longer battery life - the product says up to 40 minutes of cordless cleaning in standard mode, but I often like to have whole mornings or afternoons to clean my whole house, and I know 40 minutes wouldn't cover my vacuum needs. However, for more frequent cleanings, like spot cleans, one room, and quick messes, this is perfect to use! Overall, would recommend to friends as a great value and worthwhile cordless vac.

Lightweight, Powerful and Attractive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start by thanking the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the opportunity to try out the Powerlifter Turbo Stick Vacuum. I LOVE this vacuum. This is the first cordless vacuum I have owned, and I was very surprised at how powerful it is. There are 3 settings that are attractively displayed at the top of the vacuum. Power level 2 is sufficient for use on my hardwoods and Level 3 works great on my carpeted areas. This vacuum cleans really well. It has strong suction and manages to pick up so much pet hair, people hair, dust, crumbs, food, etc. every time I use it (which is every day since I received it 2 weeks ago). Besides the strong suction, my absolute favorite part of this vacuum is how lightweight it is, and that it is cordless! Before I got this vacuum, I would go out of my way to avoid plugging in our bulky vacuum. I would use a handheld, small type vacuum or just use a broom-- vacuuming was my least favorite chore. Since we have started using the PowerLifter, vacuuming has seriously been a treat-- even my 7-year old is getting in on the fun. It is so easy to maneuver and so lightweight that he thinks it is fun to see how much dirt he can pick up and how quickly he can do it. It is also quieter than my bulkier vacuum, which is nice around our dog and my youngest daughter (who does not like loud vacuums at all). Overall, we love this vacuum and would pay a good amount to have something this convenient and powerful. If I had one criticism, it would be the battery life when using the vacuum at the highest setting. We only have about 1,500 sq ft to clean, so it is fine for us, but if you had a big house, you would not be able to use the highest setting to clean the whole house in one go around. I do think that the lower settings are sufficient for everyday vacuuming though!

Excellent Cordless Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really have enjoyed using the cordless stick Bissell vacuum. The suction power on it is great and I love how easy it is to maneuver into small spaces. It is also lightweight and I am able to push it around without getting tired. The different attachments make it easy to clean the floor, vents, curtains, decorative items and corner of ceilings. I love that it has a rechargeable battery and it is cordless. I can walk around the house and use it on my rugs or carpet in each room. I feel the noise level is fairly quiet for a vacuum. My toddler is not scared of the vacuum noise so I can be cleaning while she is playing. I was very surprised at how much dust and debris it was able to pick up! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum.
