[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great on hardwood and carpet. Easy to put together and use. You can feel the suction when you put it on the highest setting. Only bad thing I have to say is that the wheels feel a bit cheap. This is much better than other vacuums I've tried in this price range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't super impressed with this vacuum on first try, but after using it for a few weeks, it has grown on me. I wouldn't recommend it as your main vacuum unless you live in a small space with mostly hard floors, but it's been serving me well as an easy to grab solution for spot cleaning. It does have trouble picking up larger pieces of dirt, but I'm impressed how well it does most of the time. It has no problem picking up cat litter which I was pleasantly surprised by. The battery does die pretty quickly, but my main level is about 500-600 sq ft and I'm able to vacuum it entirely before the battery dies. As for rugs, it takes a few passes to pick up everything, but does reasonably well. Again, I wouldn't recommend it for your main vacuum, but I'm happy to have it as a part of my arsenal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is good and the lightweight and the convenience of this vacuum is just amazing! My 4 year old niece can carry it around and loves to help me clean with it. I'm not having to stop to clean the rollers as much compared to the Dyson which in a household with 4 girls and a puppy that sheds like crazy is a huge deal. This vacuum is a great inexpensive option!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I've been using a Dyson for the last 8 years or so, and I was curious to see how the Bissell would compare since I have a Bissell carpet machine that I love. There are a lot of things I really love about it, and a few minor gripes. Pros: - lightweight and easy to handle - three levels of suction - feels more gentle than Dyson on hardwood - worked SO well on my thick shag rug - easy to empty canister, and I love that the filter is metal instead of the cloth on the Dyson. It seems less likely to trap that dog smell - the "headlights" on the floor attachment are INCREDIBLE. It just shines right across the dirt so you can't miss it - On the Dyson, you have to hold the trigger for the vacuum to run. On the Bissell, you press it once and it stays running until you press it again to turn it off. This is so much more comfortable than on the Dyson. Flaws but not dealbreakers: - I'm no stranger to getting an area rug caught in the vacuum and having it temporarily shut off. On my Dyson, as soon as the rug is free you can turn it back on to continue vacuuming. On the Bissell, there seems to be a built-in delay where it waits 10 seconds or so before letting you turn it on again. It's a minor gripe, but I've been annoyed by it a few times. - The floor attachment frequently gets snapped into a 90 degree angle. Because it's so lightweight, tipping the handle isn't enough to get it to release to continue vacuuming. I have to use my foot to hold the floor attachment while tipping the handle. Again, it's minor, but it's happened every time I've used the vacuum. - Both mentioned in the manual but not included in the box were the wall-mount for the battery charger and the tool holder for the attachments not in use. It would be nice to have a place to store the attachments. Without a mount, I have to remove the battery and place it on the charger, like with a power drill. Overall: 4/5; would recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell kindly gave me this Powerlifter Turbo Cordless Stick Vacuum for free so that I could review it but all opinions are my own. We have mostly hardwood floors and a few small rugs so a cordless stick vacuum is perfect for us. We can take it out as often as we need without the hassle of dealing with a cord. The Bissell Powerlifter is simple to use, the battery charges quickly and remains charged long enough for me to complete all of my vacuuming, it hasn't died on me yet. I love that it's so lightweight, much more so than my Dyson stick vacuum. The wheels make it easy to glide around the floors and under furniture. My favorite feature of the vacuum is the light which makes it effortless to see if I missed anything. It works great on both the hardwood and the rugs and even picks up more than my Dyson. My Dyson seems have issues picking up larger pieces that I have to make several passes before it gets it, that is IF it gets it so I loved the fact that the Bissell Powerlifter can get these pieces without a problem. The Bissell Powerlifter also doesn't stop rotating on my rugs like my Dyson does which makes vacuuming quick and easy. I was also surprised to see how QUIET the Powerlifter was. I would not hesitate to purchase this product in the future and quite honestly prefer it over my Dyson.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incase you're wondering like I was. It comes with the battery, charger, wall mount, extra filter and attachments. Its exactly as described. A light weight cordless vacuum with good suction. In regards to the battery life you can clean an apartment with one charge. If you're cleaning every crack and crevice or you have a full size house buying a separate additional battery would be necessary. Its just not possible to have long battery life, good suction and a lightweight vacuum. Simply just vacuum your house and see if you need an additional battery later on.
Great for cars/stairs/ areas where cordless is easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vacuum is surprisingly just as powerful as a normal plugged-into-the-wall vacuum! I received the Powerlifter Turbo for free in exchange for an unbiased review. I already own a "normal" corded vacuum, but I was interested in a powerful stick vacuum to use in places that are hard to reach with my normal vacuum. These places include my car- we would have needed like a 300ft extension cord to reach with a corded vacuum, so this cordless vacuum has been essential to be able to clean the car. The spiral staircase in our apartment is also very difficult to do with a normal vacuum, but very easy with the cordless stick vacuum. And many other small areas, or high areas are easier to do with a stick vacuum. In my previous experiences stick vacuums have been pretty weak- but this one is just as powerful as my normal corded vacuum! Both my wife and I end up vacuuming more in general now because it is just so easy to grab this little vacuum and go if you want to clean up a small spill, or the couch cushions or whatever. Additionally, the lights are very bright on the powerlifter turbo vacuum, which is actually really helpful to see where the dust is. The pros of this vacuum is: very powerful, cordless, small and easy to store in the pantry- so easy access, bright lights, relatively quiet, can remove filter and foam roller to clean, amazing for stairways/cars- better than a bigger corded vacuum. Cons: battery life is short- about 35min, handle is a bit small for large hands. For a small apartment this would be great as the only vacuum. For a house or large apartment it is helpful to have both types of vacuum because the battery life of the stick vacuum is short, but it is better at certain tasks than a normal corded vacuum. You could also probably get away with having this as your only vacuum in a bigger apartment by buying a second battery. (The 35min battery is not enough for us to do our whole apartment, and the battery takes a while to recharge).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vacuum is great! It works awesome on my hardwood floors. It even does excellent on my area rugs. It seems to suck up things. My regular vacuum doesn't. This bad boy is great for getting dust from underneath beds and furniture. It is lightweight and compact. I was even able to easily clean the vents on the ceiling! Only three cons: 1) The battery takes quite a while to charge (about 5 hours from drained). Though it does last about 40 minutes running on medium power. 2) This is a big one for me (I would have taken half a star off for this if it was an option), it does not stand up on its own, so you have to lean it on something or lay it down to keep it from falling over. This seems like it would be an easy fix for Bissell to make and I can't understand why they wouldn't have included this feature. 3) The vacuum doesn't come with anywhere to attach the accessories. It looks like you can pay extra for this feature or buy it separately, but I feel like this should be included on the base model. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this vacuum for anyone with pets or children.
