20x20x1 filters are actually 19.5x19.5x1.

20x20x1 filters are actually 19.5x19.5x1. The opening for the filters is 20x20x1, hence there is not a tight fit.

Paper frames are a little

Paper frames are a little flimsy. Air flow bends them into a cone shape.
