Still commenting on installation,,, no instructions as to how to break down the filter for install... do you tear the cardboard off the back or not, do you break open the front of filter to install immediately.

My 201 MERV 8 replacement filters arrived in perfect condition and fit my Aprilaire 2200 unit exactly. They matched the original filter element and after a week's use, seem to be performing perfectly.
