Increased air flow

Bought these for my sons house which was experiencing air restrictions from standard 1 filters. This aftermarket, 5 deep pleated filter fits into the 1 grate providing drastically increased air flow, especially with the MERV 8 efficiency rating, which allows the system to perform better with reduced blower motor workload.

Looking for an Accordion Type Filter

The original filter was an accordion type filter which fitted perfectly. The ones I bought are hard to insert into the system. Please advise. Thanks
