[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my first big move coming up, I have been in the market for the perfect new TV. I decided on the 2026 LG Electronics 42” OLED Smart TV due to my familiarity with other LG devices. I was immediately impressed by this product’s design and functionality! This TV is the perfect size for a living room with a sleek model that makes for easy relocations. The set up was convenient and user-friendly, allowing me to start watching my favorite shows in minutes. Both the sound and visual quality are excellent, making daily viewing experiences feel like luxury. With the TV being such a pillar of comfort and familiarity in the home, I am so happy that I chose LG Electronics to be a major part of my first move! The most beautiful TV

I am loving this new TV. I had a fairly new TV, roughly 5 years old, prior to this, but this one blows it out of the water! The 77” size is not only perfect for my room, but the quality makes it feel like you are in the scene. I have enjoyed watching several movies on this so far. It can display dark scenes exceptionally well, even during the daytime. If you are looking for a TV that can handle colors, blacks, and FPS, I would get this one.

Beautiful picture love the AI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this 65” LG TV in our main living space and it’s been a great upgrade overall. The picture quality stands out right away. Everything looks sharp, colors are vibrant without feeling overdone, and it performs well in both bright daytime and nighttime viewing.
One thing I really noticed is the lack of glare. Our living room gets a lot of natural light from different angles, and this screen still looks clear no matter where you’re sitting, which I couldn’t say about my previous TV.
The AI features are helpful and adjust settings automatically, which makes it very easy to use day to day. Setup was straightforward, and mounting was simple, though I wish it came with screws that fit my existing wall mount.
The speakers are fine but better with a sound bar, and the remote takes a little getting used to.
Overall, I’d give it 4 stars.

Buffering

Very pleased with this tv overall, but very irritated by the excessive buffering after a few hours of streaming. I have to unplug the tv for 1-2 hours to let it reset.

Great TV, look forward to using it for a long time

Seems to be an overall great tv. I haven't had all that much time with it yet but I have identified two items. #1 The sound cuts out for certain commercials when connected to the Xfinity 4k box. The opinion seems to be a "handshake" issue between the devices. I saw the last update had something about the handshake in it so it could be fixed now. Will have to make sure the update is installed and test it out. Other Item is a nice to have item. The home screen with all the apps is in my opinion way to bright. Is there a way to dim it down? I only noticed it because it left a ghost image on the screen the last time I used it. I ran the mouse around the screen and it seemed to clear in its trail. Switched back to video and it seemed fine. Maybe it was just burned into my eyes since it was so bright? I have the sets brightness for normal viewing set to about 70-75 % so that's the level I am used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got LG's C6 TV as part of a discount program in exchange for my honest review. I really love the vibrant colors and the darks looks so much richer and deeper. I wanted the 42 inch size because of the small space I have in my office and it's perfect because with such thin bezels I have more display area. Although, I love the Magic Remote because it's so easy to quickly navigate to an app or anything else on the TV. I just wished they would add a dedicated mute button. Overall, I would recommend this TV to my family and friends.

Perfect size, impressive picture quality
on May 18, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went with the 48” size for this TV and it ended up being the perfect fit for my space. It feels big enough to be immersive without overwhelming the room, which I was a little worried about before ordering. The picture quality is honestly what stood out right away. The blacks are very deep, colors look clean and accurate, and everything feels sharp without looking overdone or artificial.
I’ve mostly been using it for movies and shows in the evenings, and the contrast really makes a difference in darker scenes. It just looks more detailed and easier to watch. Setup was also very straightforward. The interface is simple, everything loads quickly, and I didn’t have to spend time adjusting a bunch of settings to get a great picture.
Overall, it feels like a solid upgrade and something I genuinely enjoy using every day.

Simple Upgrade That Changed My Viewing Experience
on May 18, 2026
Posted by: Renée A
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a TV that felt like a real upgrade in picture quality without overcomplicating anything, and this OLED immediately stood out once I set it up. The contrast and blacks are honestly the first thing you notice—it makes everything feel more cinematic even in a normal living room setting. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take long, which I appreciated because I just wanted it up and running without hassle.
What surprised me most was how much more immersive everyday viewing feels. Even just casual watching or having something on in the background feels elevated because the screen is so sharp and the colors feel very true-to-life. The size also fits really well in my space without feeling overpowering.
Overall, it’s been a noticeable upgrade in both design and viewing experience, and it’s become the focal point of my living room in a way I didn’t expect. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.
