A Worthy Upgrade From an Already Great LG OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of enjoying my LG OLED B7 65”, I finally decided to upgrade to something newer and larger — the 77” LG OLED C5 — and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve always stuck with OLED because nothing else matches its superior image quality, and LG has consistently delivered some of the best displays in the industry. My B7 was an amazing TV, so I came into this upgrade with pretty high expectations.
The C5 not only met those expectations but exceeded them. The larger 77-inch screen instantly makes movies and games feel more immersive, but what really stands out is the jump in picture quality. The image is noticeably brighter, and the colors are far more vivid and lifelike compared to my older model.
Another major improvement is how well the C5 handles bright rooms. My living room has several windows, and the TV still delivers an excellent picture even during the day. The enhanced brightness cuts through ambient light easily, and reflections are not noticeable at all during movie watching or gameplay. This is a huge improvement coming from the B7.
Gaming has also taken a significant leap forward. The addition of 144Hz VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) makes motion incredibly smooth, gameplay more responsive, and overall performance far better than the B7’s 60Hz panel.
WebOS also feels much more modern, thanks to the new A9 AI Gen 8 processor. Apps open faster, menus feel smoother, and navigating between streaming services is noticeably quicker and more responsive. It’s a clear upgrade over the older generation processor in the B7.
Overall, the LG OLED C5 has been a fantastic upgrade — even coming from an older but still excellent LG OLED. If you’re upgrading from a previous-generation model or simply want top-tier picture quality, outstanding gaming performance, and strong daylight visibility with minimal reflections, the C5 is absolutely worth it.

Sharp Image

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED77C5PUA is one of those TVs that immediately feels like an upgrade the moment you turn it on. The picture is incredibly sharp, with the kind of deep blacks and rich contrast that make movies and games look almost surreal, and the brightness is strong enough to give HDR content real punch without blowing out the details. Off-angle viewing is great too, which is a lifesaver if your couch setup isn’t perfectly centered. The sound is surprisingly full for built-in speakers, though most people buying a TV this nice will probably still pair it with a soundbar. The only real downsides are the usual OLED quirks — reflections in bright rooms and a remote that feels a little more fiddly than it needs to be. It’s a big, heavy TV, so setting it up isn’t exactly a one-person job, but once it’s in place, it’s genuinely impressive for the price. Overall, it’s a fantastic pick if you’re after a huge, high-end screen without jumping into the crazy-expensive flagship tier.

First oled. Wow!!!!

First thing is wow on the details. The c5 makes sure look good and her look amazing. You can see the details so well. Even on anime, watching demon slayer and the fire looks real. Gaming feels great too. Looks awesome and the reaction time is great. Sound is good too. Overall very happy with my choice.
